The Evolution Of Aggressive Bass Fishing
Welcome to American Badass Bass Fishing's Blog.
For starters...so we've got your attention enjoy the last 3 months of photos and videos of our Bass Fishing adventures on foot...with no boat, see what we call Combat Bassin and what it can produce when you are armed with the facts about what makes a big Bass bite.
First, I don't subscribe to the old thinking about Bass not biting until a certain time of day, or after a front, or any other misconceptions.
I don't subscribe to the old belief systems that tend to promote a lack of confidence in your techniques or your general attitude while you fish a given spot and a lure.
The fact is...Bass will bite...even in periods of so-called "inactivity."
To the "Average Joe" out there who gets discouraged at times we say "Don't Believe The Hype!"
"Force'em to bite!"
If you take a moment to look at some of our Photo's and videos, you will see that regardless of the time of day or the temp or conditions our techniques consistently produce Huge bass wherever we choose to fish. But as anglers we cant take all the credit.... the Bass deserve most of the credit. Why?
Well, all predatory species of game fish are instinctively programmed to do many things in order to survive, feed and reproduce. The techniques I use rely on triggering the most important to the Bass's survival as a species.
When surprised or threatened, a game fish will do one of two things: It will flee, or it will attack.
If it flees, you will have spooked it into fleeing and then you know it's there.
If it attacks, it will usually use it's mouth and if it does, you will set the hook on a furious bite.
This technique we call "Bite or Flight" is the most effective way to catch big bass and all other game fish on the planet using artificial lures. I say this because I have proven this over and over again with many different species of game fish including many salt water species. "Bite or Flight" along with some basic rod handling skills and persistance pays off with dramatic results as you can see from our photo's and videos.
